HOA Board Meeting 11/23

The Board of Directors will hold a regular meeting Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at the Village of Round Lake Public Works and Policy Facility, 751 W. Townline Road, Round Lake, IL 60073. The meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. with a public forum at which homeowners have a chance to address the board. After the forum, the board will begin its business meeting. The agenda includes approval of minutes and financial reports,  final approval of the budget for 2017, engagement of the accounting firm for annual compilation of fiscal year 2016, and approval of new contract with Premier Residential Management. There will be final segment to discuss and possibly act on any other new business. Please attend!

The Board of Directors will hold a regular meeting Wednesday, August 24, 2016, at the Village of Round Lake Public Works and Policy Facility, 751 W. Townline Road, Round Lake, IL 60073. The meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. with a public forum at which homeowners have a chance to address the board. After the forum, the board will begin its business meeting. The agenda includes approval of minutes and financial reports,  discussion and approval of a budget for 2017, approval of a schedule for our natural area restorations in 2017, and discussion on possible changes to our HOA documents. There will be final segment to discuss and possibly act on any other new business. Please attend!

2016 Annual Statements & Board of Directors meetings

Please check your mail for your statement of the 2016 annual assessment, which was mailed on December 3rd. Note that your annual assessment is due January 1, 2016, with a grace period given until January 31, 2016. Any assessment received after January 31, 2016, will be considered late and subject to a $150.00 late charge.

The Board of Directors has set its meeting dates for 2016. All meetings will be held at the Round Lake Police & Public Works Facility, 751 W. Townline Road, Round Lake, IL 60073.

  • Wednesday, March 16, 2016, 7:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday, May 18, 2016, 7:00 p.m. This is the annual homeowners’ meeting that includes the election of directors to the board. After the annual meeting and the election, a regular board meeting will follow.
  • Wednesday, August 24, 2016, 7:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday, November 23, 2016, 7:00 p.m. This is the meeting for approval of the budget for 2017.

Report from Board Meeting 11/18

At its meeting of November 18th, the Board of Directors adopted the association’s budget for 2016. Highlights of the budget include, on the revenue side, keeping normal annual assessments flat with no special assessment and, on the expenditure side, continuing to fund the improvements to and maintenance of the ponds and our other common areas. The Board also renewed the contract with Apex Landscaping for another three years. If a resident should have any question about the budget or the maintenance plans, he or she should contact the Board or Premier Residential Management.
