Trick-or-treating in the Village of Round Lake will be held on Sunday, October 29, 2017, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Triple A “The Auto Group” has donated Halloween trick or treat bags and book marks to the Police Department. The Police Department uses these materials to assist in raising awareness regarding visibility, safe pedestrian practices for children, and driver attentiveness around the Halloween season in Round Lake.
Our participation in this awareness campaign is important because children are four times more likely to be struck by a motor vehicle on Halloween than any other day of the year.
Trick or treat bags can be obtained for free at the Police Department Monday thru Friday, 8:30 am to 6:00 pm while supplies last.
The Board of Directors will hold a regular meeting Wednesday, August 23, 2017, at the Village of Round Lake Public Works and Police Facility, 751 W. Townline Road, Round Lake, IL 60073. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. with a public forum during which homeowners have a chance to address the board. After the forum, the board will begin its business meeting. There will be final segment to discuss and possibly act on any other new business. Please attend!
We thank all who attended the Annual Homeowners Meeting held on May 24, 2017, as well as those who turned in their proxy votes for the meeting. The result of the election of board members is as follows:
- President: Andrea Jourdain, serving a two-year term.
- Vice-President: Stacy Tillotson, serving a two-year term.
- Treasurer: Tyrone Seymour, serving a two-year term.
- Secretary: Kathy Pegg, serving a one-year term.
- Director: William DeBlase, serving a one-year term.
